Remember that people will judge you based on your appearance. Therefore, it is important to make sure you are presenting yourself in a polished, professional manner. A surprisingly small amount of grooming and attention to fashion can go an incredibly long way.

We at Third Coast Events, Inc. have found that having specific goals for interactions will also help to guide conversations and make them feel more productive. Of course, don’t allow your goals to cause you to dominate the conversation. Be clear about what you are looking for but also actively listen.

Making eye contact is an important factor in making people like you from your first meeting. Excessive eye contact can be a little unnerving. We have found that the ideal strategy is to alternate between looking at the eyes, nose, and mouth.

These tips will empower you to make excellent first impressions on everyone you meet. We at Third Coast Events, Inc. have accomplished a lot of networking triumphs using these techniques.
